Nicole Kidman arrives with daughter Sunday Rose, 17, as her date to the 2026 Met Gala
Nicole Kidman arrived to the 2026 Met Gala red carpet with a special date — her fashion model daughter Sunday Rose, 17.
The newly single "Scarpetta" star, 58, who split from ex-husband Keith Urban in 2025, wore a red sequined Chanel gown with long sleeves and feather details. Her long blond hair was worn straight and parted down the middle.
Sunday Rose wore a strapless pink gown with billowy floral embellishments that matched her earrings.
The stylish duo's look paid homage to the gala’s theme of “Costume Art” and its dress code: “Fashion is Art."

Kidman is one of the co-chairs of this year's Met Gala alongside Beyoncé, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour. The night marks Kidman's third time as the event's co-chair, having previously served in 2003 and 2005.
Over the years, the “Moulin Rouge” star has made headlines for her gala looks since her debut at the event in 2003.
That year, Kidman nodded to the night's theme — “Goddess: The Classical Mode” — by wearing a sheer one-shouldered gown with crystal embellishments designed by Tom Ford for Gucci. She paired the look with long fringe diamond earrings.

In 2005, she wore a strapless navy Chanel gown that featured intricate black beading.
In 2016, the Oscar winner honored the event’s edgy “Manus X Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme by wearing a heavily embellished black Alexander McQueen gown with a plunging neckline and cutaways in the torso.
She topped off her look with a cape adorned with beaded moons and stars and a delicate crown.

In 2023, Kidman got high marks for repurposing a pink tulle Chanel gown with ostrich feathers that she originally wore in a 2003 Chanel No. 5 commercial helmed by filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, who directed her in “Moulin Rouge,” “Australia” and other movies.
