Bad Bunny pulls off effortless aged look at 2026 Met Gala

The global sensation, born Benito Antonio Martínez, was unforgettable on the grand steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 4. He turned heads after arriving in prosthetic makeup that made him appear as if he stepped into a time machine.

Bad Bunny worked on the striking transformation with artist Mike Marino, who was also behind Heidi Klum's viral full-blown statue look at the fashion affair.

The "DtMF" artist played into the night's dress code, which invited guests "to express their own relationship to fashion as an embodied art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the dressed body throughout art history."

Additionally, the 32-year-old donned a custom all-black suit, made in collaboration with Zara. He added other intentional details, including Cartier jewelry, a cane and a statement bow.

Bad Bunny has become a staple at the Met Gala

Over the years, Bad Bunny has become known for his daring style on the red carpet. From rocking a backless suit to incorporating his Puerto Rican culture in his looks, Bad Bunny has landed on the best-dressed lists since making his Met Gala debut in 2022.

In an interview on the Met Gala red carpet with Vogue on Monday, Bad Bunny told host La La Anthony that he's always trying to do something out of the box.

"This day of the Met is the perfect day to explore and be creative and express yourself in a different way," he said. "That's what I'm doing tonight."

He also joked that it took him "53 years" to get ready for the event.
