On Met Gala Monday, Amanda Seyfried wears pink
The Met Gala has missed you, Amanda Seyfried. After her absence at last year’s ceremony, the Oscar-nominated star returned to the fashion fundraiser tonight, where she wore a pink princess gown custom-made by Prada and accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The strapless bubblegum-pink design featured a smooth, skin-hugging bodice with drop waist and a billowing skirt composed of thick ruffles that transformed into a train. Finally, to really lean into her regal energy, the actor accessorized with a decadent princess necklace set with aquamarine jewels, and paired it with matching statement earrings.

The last time Seyfried walked the Met steps was in 2024, for the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” event (where the dress code was “the Garden of Time”).
For that year, the Mean Girls star chose an aluminum-esque scoop-neck dress upcycled from a crinkly silver satin that was featured in the Prada Spring 2009 collection. The gown was adorned with beaded flowers along the skirt, and it was accessorized with a matching silver crown with metal florals and swirls that emulated Seyfried’s hair.

That year, the actor’s makeup artist, Genevieve Herr, opened up about her client’s process ahead of the Met Gala. “Oh my god, Amanda is a lot of fun while we get ready,” the artist told Bazaar. “She brought a lot of natural snacks, like granola, and played her own music—this time, it was Taylor Swift, because that’s what relaxes her.”
Herr added: “She’s really an amazing girl and very down to earth.”
Seyfried has been to the Met Gala a total of five times, beginning in 2013, when she walked the red carpet alongside her date, director Pedro Almodovar.
Each time she has attended the event, it has surely been a moment to remember.
