Here’s some tips on how to go to Redang from KL.
📍We booked our bus ticket online. Our pick up point is TBS to Hentian Bas MBKT vice versa. Our ticket cost. RM47 each trip.
📍We took the night journey since the jetty departs at 10:00am. It was a 6 hrs travel time. We departed 11:00 pm and arrives at 5:00 am. There’s a 24 hrs mamak shop there so we had a nice morning local coffee.
📍Since we stayed in Laguna Redang Island Resort, we need to go to TAMAN TAMADUN ISLAM JETTY KUALA TERANGGANU. They’re using this port and they have own jetty as well to accomodate all their guests. From Hentian Bas terminal, we waited 2 hrs till our driver pick us up and send us to the port. It was a 20 mins drive.
📍After that we registered at the resort’s jetty lounge and paid the marine park fee “gov’t mandated.” for foreigners it cost us RM30 each. For locals it’s only RM5.
📍We waited another 2 hrs for the boat to arrive and send us to the Island. It took us 1.5 hrs from Taman tamadun to the Island.
